Microsoft Buys Apple

In a Surprise announcement today, Microsoft made a 107 billion dollar hostile take over bid on Apple. Apparently Apple's board of directors rejected the bid, but the decision of the stockholders caused Apple to become a newly formed subsidiary of Microsoft.

The takeover was approved by the FCC on 1:00 pm eastern time, the merger was official at 6:00 pm eastern time. The newly formed subsidiary now called "Microsoft Fruit" will continue to make iPods and iPhone but Microsoft officially changed the names of these products to "Zune" and "Zune phone".

No word yet on what will happen to OS X and Apples line of Macs and other software. In the press release Steve Ballmer ran around screaming like a monkey and holding a Zune in the air, when asked to stop he instinctively Zune-slaped every member of the audience. Now I know this is a very unexpected turn of events but Bill Gates stated that "This deal has been going on for the last few months."

As stock markets crash and oil prices skyrocket, we must all remember in this time of war, no matter how many display .dll errors we mac users must face, we must rescues "Apple."
